KENDRIYAVIDYALAYA NO.2, BOLANGIR

Annual Report 2013-14

“You cannot change your future

But you can change your habits,

and surely your habits will change your FUTURE.”

Similarly

““Dreams are not what you see in your sleep,

but dreams are what which doesn’t let you sleep”

Quoted by our former president of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

I am enthused with joy and excitement to welcome you to this eventful day of the year. It is an honour to have you all amidst us to be a part of our school’s 15th Annual Day Celebrations, the day, where we not only mesmerise you with the cultural extravaganza but also, share with you our achievements and glory.

We are on the edge of completing another academic session 2014-15 during this session we have tried to touch the horizon and in many areas , we are proud to say that we got success in flying colours. Now, its time to showcase our performances and achievements.

At the outset with the permission of the Chairman VMC, I would like to present before the august gathering a brief report of the activities of the Vidyalaya for the session 2013-14.

K.V. No.2, Bolangir a model Kendriya Vidyalaya started working as ‘Temple of Learning’ in 1992. Since then it has never looked behind and today it is a full fledged school having double sections upto Class-VIII and single section upto Class-XII. A team of 34 teachers are always standing on toes to cater the educational needs of about 850 students.

The Vidyalaya witnessed various changes from the initial stage to this day. Faces are changed but the glory is not extenuated. Instead it is increasing day by day in one or another way. The persons who served here are spreading the fragrance of their glory in other Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Vince Lombardi said, “The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual.”

Excellence in academics is the hallmark of any good institution. Let me start with the academic life and activities of our Vidyalaya. The session 2013-14 was full of academic Activities in many ways. Accordingly the school was able to produce exceptional result only due to the sincerely dedicative efforts of students and teachers under the strict guidance of the principal.

INFRASTRUCTURE  DEVELOPMENT

The Vidyalaya has been trying its fullest growth and development in a miserly manner due to its ongoing tough time financially. NEEDS OF THE VIDYALAYA

Indeed, the Vidyalaya is blessed with ample budding talents and they are eagerly waiting for many dynamic platform to showcase themselves but unfortunately they are being deprived from such dynamic provision due to financial scarcity. And it is a major loss of our future. I believe it is noteworthy share the bitter reality of the financial situation of the Vidyalaya that acknowledging the helpless circumstance of the Vidyalaya. The esteemed Deputy Commissioner KVS, RO, Raipur has sanctioned Rs.3,00000/- as loan to conduct the minimum activities of the Vidyalaya and this was  only reason that we were unable to celebrate Annual Function during last session. And this session with the assistance of Regional Office, KVS Raipur, this occasion has become feasible. I hope that our well wishers would bring a shining morning for our children.
